NOW ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS Helen is a Registered Social Worker (M.S.W.) who offers a warm, supportive, and down-to-earth approach to counselling. She practices from a person-centered and trauma-informed perspective, meaning she meets you where you are and works at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you. Helen brings both professional training and personal understanding to her work. As someone who has experienced therapy herself, she deeply values the courage it takes to reach out for support. She draws on Gestalt therapy to help clients build awareness, connect with their emotions, and better understand themselves in the present moment. She is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly about your experiences—including the stress and challenges of everyday life. Helen works from an anti-oppressive lens, recognizing how broader social and economic pressures can impact mental health and wellbeing. Helen’s goal is to build a strong, trusting relationship with you, where you feel supported in exploring your strengths, improving your relationships, and working toward a more fulfilling life—whatever that looks like for you. Dwight holds a Master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph and is registered as a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. For over twenty years, he has supported individuals, couples, and families through some of life’s most challenging moments.

He is dedicated to helping those experiencing depression, anxiety, and grief, as well as individuals navigating significant life transitions such as loss, divorce, and retirement. Dwight believes that sharing life’s challenges within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship is often the first meaningful step toward healing and growth.

Outside of his clinical work, Dwight is a proud father of two adult children and the devoted owner of a Labrador Retriever named Rigby, who likely enjoys more than his fair share of treats. Originally from Nova Scotia, he remains a loyal sports fan cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, the Green Bay Packers, and the Montreal Canadians.
